Orders and Shipping
Most orders ship within 1-3 business days. However, made-to-order and personalized items can take a minimum of 5-7 days to ship. Â
You can create an account during checkout or in the main menu in the upper right corner. Â
You can change your address in the ‘my account’ section. Please be sure to do this BEFORE placing your order. Â
You will receive an email with the tracking information. You can also check your account for more information.
We have a secure checkout with many payment options that does not store your information on file.
Yes, we charge New Jersey sales tax.Â
At this time we only ship within the USA.
If you order multiple items we will ship them out as they become available. It is possible your items will come in more than one package.Â

Returns and Exchanges
We will replace any item that is delivered damaged or defective. Custom orders, and specified suppliers do not accept returns. Please read the return policy below, and check all spelling and/or measurements entered carefully before placing your order.
Send an email to: returns@themodernpetusa.com within 48 hours if you received the wrong item, so we can replace it with the correct item as soon as possible.
Send an email to returns@themodernpetusa.com within 48 hours of delivery, so we can replace the damaged item as soon as possible. There are no exchanges for a different product or size. You will receive a replacement for the exact item ordered.
You will receive an RMA number when you initiate your return via email. Once authorized you will be given information on how and where to ship your return.Â

Immediately email info@themodernpetusa.com and we will make every effort to fix it for you. Some items are processed and ship within 24 hours and would be difficult to change address once order is placed.
Custom made orders cannot be changed or canceled once submitted. Many orders contain items that are shipped quickly, and therefore we would not be able to be cancel or change your order. Please email us immediately, and we will do our best to help.
Some items may be backordered, and will be specified in their description if pre-ordering is an option.
